As we celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2025, Kia Mau Festival is excited to launch our inaugural Donating Programme, a new way for individuals and organisations to contribute to our tangata whenua and tangata moana led arts festival in based in Te Upoko o te ika a Māui, Aotearoa New Zealand.
As a Charitable Trust, we are committed to fostering Indigenous creative expression, supporting tangata whenua, tangata moana and global Indigenous artists, and enriching the arts landscape. We know that our work further sustains valuable creative pathways, upon which many artists have and continue to travel.
Through your want and generosity, you help ensure the continued growth of artistic talent, the value of our artists’ craft and the development of audiences. Our Donating Programme supports the strengthening of arts within our families, communities, and throughout our wider society.
