By us, for us.
When a young Māori storyteller starts her new role as a copywriter at a leading advertising agency , she sets aside her creative ambitions to climb the corporate ladder. As her work status rises, so too does the pressure to uphold tikanga in an all-Pākehā environment. At her lowest point, she remembers lessons at university with an unruly lecturer that inspires her to make the next big move in her writing career.
This is a meeting of live theatre and live action. Where Māori/ Pasifika / PoC production, design, cast and crew are leaning in to Pasifika ways of storytelling in order to hold our collective narrative now and for the future.
Contains coarse language and sexual references.
