Growing a festival from a creative vision to a contemporary Indigenous reality is an ongoing journey. To this day, we have traversed mountains, rivers and oceans. We have crossed the grounds of new relationships, all the while pursuing the reality of an artist-led, Indigenous-led contemporary arts festival.

The impact on our creative community will no doubt be felt for better or for worse – as will Aotearoa as a whole. We Artists however will continue to lead, dream and create – such is our way.
